Gas installation technician — Kalkaska County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Kalkaska County, Michigan. You will be based in a gas distribution network. You should have: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders The role involves check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes.
