Stitching operator wanted in Somerset

Join our team: we are hiring a stitching operator in Somerset, England. Your main tasks: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension Ideal candidate: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
