Plant operator — Cumberland County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in Cumberland County, Virginia. The job is in a packaging factory. What we are looking for: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Good attention to detail and steady hands The role involves: • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
