Kitchen porter — Alachua County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Alachua County, Florida. Day to day you will clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls; restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates Full-time, day shift.
