Fusing press operator — Davison County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Davison County, South Dakota. The job is at a garment factory. Day to day you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. What we are looking for: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Part-time with flexible hours.
