Formwork joiner • Jerauld County, South Dakota

Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Jerauld County, South Dakota. You will be based on a busy high-rise construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
