Toolroom milling operator — Marquette County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Marquette County, Michigan. Your main tasks: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence You should have: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Rotating shifts.
