Assembly technician — Yates County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an assembly technician in Yates County, New York. You will be based at a consumer goods manufacturing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Follow the work instruction sheet for each station • Log defects and place rejected units in the rework bay • Snap-fit plastic housings and clip in the wiring harnesses • Wear an ESD wrist strap when handling circuit boards • Keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station Ideal candidate: • Minimum 10th pass or ITI is an advantage • Basic understanding of quality checks and 5S 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $170 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
