Argon welder • Fleming County, Kentucky

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Fleming County, Kentucky. You will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Overtime paid at a premium rate.
