Now hiring: foundry worker (Colorado)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry worker in Kiowa County, Colorado. Day-to-day duties: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
