In-process quality controller • Nassau County, New York

Great opportunity: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Nassau County, New York. On a typical shift you will record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
