We are recruiting: we are hiring a marble fixer in Greene County, Illinois. You should have: • Own hand tools an advantage • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team On a typical shift you will fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish; cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades; measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
