Formwork carpenter — Columbia County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Columbia County, Pennsylvania. You will work on a commercial fit-out site. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Day-to-day duties: • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
