Precision welder — Stevens County

Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Stevens County, Minnesota. The job is on an industrial construction site. The role involves: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
