Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Montgomery County, Virginia. The role involves: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius What we are looking for: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) 3+ years on the tools preferred.
