Immediate opening: tyre technician (Iowa)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tyre technician in Pocahontas County, Iowa. The job is in a commercial truck tyre depot. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets • Punctual and willing to work weekends • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage Your main tasks: • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience.
