TIG welder wanted in Kankakee County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a TIG welder in Kankakee County, Illinois. You will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Six days a week, one day off.
