Falsework carpenter — Batagarawa

Now hiring: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Batagarawa, Katsina State. The role involves erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour. What we are looking for: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules 2+ years on the tools preferred. ₦700 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
