Requirements: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Day to day you will change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet.
