Rebar foreman — Jersey County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Jersey County, Illinois. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. The role involves set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
