The role involves mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Part-time with flexible hours.
