Production line inspector — Northumberland

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production line inspector in Northumberland, England. On a typical shift you will segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
