Aluminium technician — Kent County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium technician in Kent County, Rhode Island. The job is on a commercial shopfront installation. Day-to-day duties: • Fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels • Crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine • Fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware • Erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site • Install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads • Assemble window and door frames from extruded sections Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections • Skilled on cutting, crimping and punching machines A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
