Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Iron County, Michigan. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Day to day you will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish.
