Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dough maker in Itasca County, Minnesota. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • 2+ years' experience as a baker The role involves: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
