Backhoe loader operator — Houston County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Houston County, Texas. The job is at a stone quarry. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence Day to day you will stockpile and spread material to the required levels; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
