Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Somerset County, Maine. You should have: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding On the job you will handle: • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
