Construction helper wanted in Clarke County

Now hiring: we are hiring a construction helper in Clarke County, Iowa. You will work with a civil contractor. You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio The role involves: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $260 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
