Immediate opening: we are hiring a stitching operator in Columbiana County, Ohio. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. Your main tasks: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Full-time with occasional weekends.
