Shuttering carpenter — Southampton

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Southampton, England. You will work at an infrastructure construction site. On a typical shift you will brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN). What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
