You should have: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills The role involves record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates.
