Construction labourer — Lake County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction labourer in Lake County, Illinois. You will work on a road and bridge project. Ideal candidate: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions Your main tasks: • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
