Quality control inspector wanted in Scott County

Now hiring: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Scott County, Kansas. The job is at a food processing unit. The role involves: • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts Requirements: • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits.
