Vacancy available: we are hiring a plasterer in Whiteside County, Illinois. The job is in a refurbishment property. Your main tasks: • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
