Rebar installer — Gloucester County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar installer in Gloucester County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements 6+ years on the tools preferred.
