Day to day you will strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture; fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps; mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting; apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller.
