Ideal candidate: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Your main tasks: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
