Argon welding operator • Chattahoochee County, Georgia

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Chattahoochee County, Georgia. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On a typical shift you will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Pay around $27 per hour, based on your experience.
