Vacancy available: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Routt County, Colorado. You will work at a road and highway construction project. Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control The role involves: • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $150 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
