Production operative • Wright County, Iowa

Now hiring: we are hiring a production operative in Wright County, Iowa. You will work in a textile mill. On the job you will handle: • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills Six days a week, one day off. $150 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
