Rigging foreman — Halifax County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Halifax County, Virginia. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket The role involves set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists.
