Now hiring: we are hiring a surface coating operator in County Durham, England. You will be based in a busy paint shop. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process The role involves mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around £2,000 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts.
