Cnc setter-operator — McIntosh County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in McIntosh County, Oklahoma. You will work at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls The role involves adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; load and index turning tools in the turret; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes. 1+ years on the tools preferred. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
