Crane rigger — Otsego County

Now hiring: we are hiring a crane rigger in Otsego County, Michigan. You will be based at a container port. On the job you will handle: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Confident with standard crane hand signals 4+ years on the tools preferred.
