Slinger signaller — Holmes County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Holmes County, Florida. Day to day you will attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Six days a week, one day off.
