D6/D8 dozer operator wanted in Moody County

Now hiring: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Moody County, South Dakota. You will work on a road construction project. The role involves spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; refuel the machine and record running hours; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals. Requirements: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Rotating shifts. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
