Vacancy available: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Cherry County, Nebraska. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. The role involves calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; read lift plans and method statements before starting; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
