Join our team: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Yakutat City and Borough, Alaska. Day to day you will pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided.
