You should have: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Own basic hand tools • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Day to day you will lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet.
