Immediate opening: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Jefferson County, Colorado. Day to day you will fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Full-time, day shift.
